Second poll: More good news for Hilleary
by Sarah Gentry
For the second time in two weeks a poll have been released showing Van Hilleary leading in the Republican field to defeat Democrat Harold Ford Jr., the likely Democrat nominee. The first poll released 11 days ago was conducted by WBIR and showed Hilleary with a 32 point advantage in name identification over his closest rival.
The newest poll is by Rasmussen and shows Hilleary the only candidate with a lead outside the margin of error. Ed Bryant had had a slight lead in the poll for the last few months until this latest one was released.
